Job description: Numonyx is a semiconductor company making flash memories, which was founded on March 31, 2008 by Intel Corporation, STMicroelectronics and Francisco Partners. The company supplies non-volatile memory for a variety of consumer and industrial devices including cellular phones, MP3 players, digital cameras, computers and other high-tech equipment.
Job Description:
Maintain and analyze the ledger accounts; and develop financial statements and reports.
Develop and maintain the policies that govern the Company's reporting process and ensure compliance with generally accepted reporting standards. GAAP
Accounting functions may include general ledger accounting for cash and cash equivalents, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivables.
a. Own cash reconciliation work; may take direction from corporate treasury to support cash forecasting and management activities including payments.
b. Own fixed assets reconciliation work; may take direction from the corporate consolidation team to support capital spending actions.
c. Support monthly close by working with corporate and shared service providers to perform many of the month-end reconciliations, and resolving reconciling differences; also work with the shared service provider to resolve exceptions.
d. May be expected to support various inventory and fixed asset control activities such as cycle counts, asset inventory evaluations, and local external auditor quarterly and annual procedures.
Aid the tax compliance service provider by ensuring the timely provision of information required to meet local tax filing requirements.
Own government reporting requirements with PEZA and other government regulatory bodies.
Finally, the accountant may sit on various continuous improvement, controls, and system project teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 3-5 years accounting experience in Finance within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment or shared services
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
